Open Obedience Show 2/7/2006
Class B D/B - Judge's Report

Judge: Helen Franklin
Steward: Victoria Nankivell-Long
Score: Eileen Restell
Decoy: Julie Nankivell-Long

Thank you to Karen and the rest of the SBCC committee for this invitiation to judge. It was a lovely little show to judge at and we were very well looked up, with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The weather was more suited to lazing around a swimming pool.. My thanks to Victoria for her wonderful stewarding and to Eileen again on the scoreboard. My commiserations to Jan Cook and the lovely Archie who were in the lead going into scent when he brought back the decoy. I know how upset you must be must keep your chin up and the red one will come soon. Those in line up were:

1st) Sally Porter & Gefni Yeringberg Estate of Olantigh, GSD, lost 7.75
Sally and Storme produced a good round with nice heelwork and good set exercises. Congratulations Sally.

2nd) Ann Cook & Goldfly Spirit in The Sky of Athyrium, Italion Spinone, lost 8
Slightly over trying on turns but nice to see a different breed produced a good 'B' round. Well done Ann.

3rd) Eileen Restell & Trimac Flintlands Blue Chip Jagger, WS, lost 8.50
If something hadn't spooked Kai in is slow pace then I think he definately would have been in contention for first place. His fast pace is alot stronger now so hopefully the red one will be with you soon. Well done.

4th) Sue Heard & Wildsea Wychinour, BC, lost 8.75
I have seen this little bitch work better in her heelwork, but her set exercises are very precise, so well done Sue.

5th) Karen Springett & Runfold Upstart, BC, lost 10
A nice round by Karen and her stylish collies, but scent putting them down and few places today. Well done.

6th) Louise Spenceley & Quilters Starryied Surprise, lost 11.50
Louise's bitch decided that she didn't want to go throught the front markers today, but Louise was still very pleased, especially as she had one the open 'C' as well. Well done.
