I would like to thank Southern Border Collie Club for inviting me to judge their Open show and for all those competitors who put their dogs up for me to judge. I was pleased by the quality of the entries with very few absentees. However, I was a little disappointed by a few short tails, which seem to be creeping in and by a few dirty coats. But apart from that the entries were well presented by their handlers.
I like to see a dog, which firstly looks like a Border Collie, moves effortlessly and is of athletic appearance, and I wasn’t to be disappointed.
